HubSpot Prompts Skill for Claude is an installable Claude skill that provides a searchable library of 80+ expert HubSpot prompts organized by role, use case, and business workflow. The skill is designed to help Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Service, Customer Success, and RevOps teams quickly find, adapt, or create high-quality HubSpot prompts without starting from scratch.
The project supports multiple usage modes, including guided prompt selection, role-based filtering, smart matching from natural-language requests, and fully custom prompt creation. Instead of forcing users into rigid templates, the skill treats prompts as flexible starting points that Claude can adapt to the user’s specific HubSpot context.
The skill can be used without a live HubSpot connection for prompt discovery and drafting, or with the HubSpot MCP connector to execute selected prompts against live HubSpot data directly inside Claude Cowork.

Skill Strategy & Product Design
Designed an installable Claude skill that helps HubSpot users quickly access high-quality prompts by role, use case, and workflow need.
Created a practical user experience with four interaction modes: guided browsing, role filtering, smart matching, and freeform prompt creation.
Positioned the skill around a flexible design principle: prompts are starting points, not cages, allowing Claude to adapt templates to each user’s business context.
Prompt Library Architecture
Structured a library of 81 HubSpot prompts across Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Service, Customer Success, and RevOps.
Organized prompts into role-based folders and use-case categories to make the library easier to search, maintain, and expand.
Created a lightweight prompt index so Claude can identify relevant prompts without reading every individual prompt file.
HubSpot Workflow & Object Mapping
Mapped prompts to common HubSpot workflows across revenue operations, including deal prioritization, campaign analytics, order insights, ticket resolution, customer retention, invoice analysis, and pipeline hygiene.
Included HubSpot-specific objects and operational concepts such as contacts, companies, deals, tickets, quotes, invoices, orders, line items, subscriptions, lifecycle stages, owners, and performance metrics.
Designed prompt guidelines around clear action verbs, specific HubSpot objects, filters, conditions, desired output formats, and analysis context.
Claude Skill Development
Built the skill structure using SKILL.md, prompt-index.md, and individual markdown prompt files.
Created routing logic for Claude to determine whether the user needs guided selection, role filtering, smart matching, or custom prompt development.
Packaged the project as a .skill file for one-click installation in Claude Desktop Cowork mode.
Added CLI installation support using npx skills add edytajordan/hubspot-prompts-skill.
AI-Assisted RevOps Enablement
Developed the skill to support both prompt drafting and live HubSpot execution when connected to the HubSpot MCP connector.
Enabled users to describe business questions in natural language and have Claude match them to the closest operational prompt.
Supported use cases across sales performance, marketing analytics, customer support, commerce insights, retention, and RevOps data hygiene.
Documentation & Distribution
Wrote complete README documentation covering installation, usage modes, prompt library structure, contribution guidelines, rebuilding the .skill package, and sharing options.
Prepared the project for distribution through GitHub, direct .skill file sharing, CLI installation, and skills.sh community discovery.
Created contributor guidelines so others can add prompts consistently using standardized metadata, role folders, use-case labels, and prompt formatting.
Continuous Improvement
Designed the project so new HubSpot prompts, roles, and use cases can be added over time.
Established reusable prompt-writing standards for action clarity, HubSpot object specificity, filtering logic, output formatting, and analytical context.
Created a foundation for expanding the skill into a broader AI-assisted HubSpot operations toolkit.
