About the project.

JELD-WEN is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of reliable windows and doors. Their extensive product offering spans exterior doors, interior doors, windows, and related building products sold globally through multiple distribution channels, including retail home centers, wholesale distributors, and building product dealers.

To support such a broad, multi-channel presence, JELD-WEN needed centralized marketing intelligence. With data flowing from Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Suite, and multiple media accounts, their teams required a single source of truth to track campaign performance, attribute pipeline, and optimize media spend. Integrating these systems into Salesforce Datorama (Marketing Cloud Intelligence) enabled JELD-WEN to harmonize disparate data, automate reporting, and empower leadership with actionable insights across global markets.

My Role

My Role: Data Engineer & Marketing Intelligence Specialist

In this engagement, my role focuses on connecting, transforming, and analyzing marketing data to give stakeholders unified, actionable insights. I:

  • Integrate & connect platforms — bring together Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Google Suite, and media accounts (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) into Datorama.

  • Data modeling & harmonization — map campaign, audience, and performance data into standardized structures, aligning disparate data sources for accurate cross-channel reporting.

  • Automation & ETL pipelines — create automated ingestion flows and API connections for daily/real-time data refreshes.

  • Dashboard design & insights — build interactive dashboards that surface KPIs like pipeline attribution, ROI, cost per lead, and engagement by channel.

  • Governance & QA — enforce naming conventions, monitor data quality, troubleshoot sync issues, and optimize calculations for consistency across teams.
